Edmonton Pubs Charity Show and Shine for The Youth Emergency Shelter (YESS)

This event is being hosted by the Edmonton Pubs (Sherlock Holmes, Devaneys, Rose and Crown) and proceeds will go to the Youth Emergency Shelter. The major thoroughfare, 100 Street, will be closed off between Sir Winston Churchill Square and the Bay (and around the corner to the Sutton Place Hotel). Nearly 100 of the world's most spectacular exotic street cars will line the roadway as many of Western Canada's car enthusiasts will bring their cars out to compete for prizes for best vehicle. Lambourghini's and Ferrari's will be coming out in droves! Mayor Mandel will be on hand as will many of the Indy's drivers to judge. Paul Tracey is formally signed on to attend. There will be a charity breakfast and a barbeque, and a special family fun zone will be setup in front of the Sutton Place Hotel.

Kids Kottage
The Kids Kottage in Edmonton provides a respite for young children of families that are under extreme duress. Parents will leave their children in the good hands of the Kids Kottage while they take the time to sort out their personal difficulties at home. Pure Artists have been involved with the Kids Kottage for many years in a myriad of different performance opportunities. The volunteer appreciation is a very humble evening where the Kids Kottage takes the time to thank their many tireless workers and supporters.
St Albert’s Jubilee Celebration
Mass on the hill to celebrate 150 years
Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools is celebrating an outdoor mass to commemorate the 150th anniversary of St. Albert Catholic Church and the City of St. Albert. They will also recognize the centennial anniversary of St. Emile Catholic Church in Legal and the 100th anniversary of the Town of Morinville. Over five thousand people are expected to be in attendance. The main celebrant at Mass will be Archbishop Richard Smith of the Archdiocese of Edmonton.
16TH ANNUAL SPORTCHEK MOTHER'S DAY WALK AND RUN
The Sportchek Mother's Day Walk and Run continues to be Alberta's largest family fundraising event with over 22,000 participants last year. Proceeds from this years event will go to support the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. Specifically, it will help to fund their Pediatric Emergency Room.
The Kidney Foundation of Canada
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is a group of people working together for a common cause. They are volunteers, individuals living with kidney disease, donors, and staff members — from all walks of life, all across Canada. Since its creation in 1964, The Kidney Foundation has helped millions of Canadians suffering from kidney failure and related disorders such as hypertension, diabetes, urinary tract infections and kidney stones. The Kidney Foundation's annual Give the Gift of Life Walk is fast approaching. The event takes place on the morning of Sunday, May 1. It takes place at the ACT Centre in Rundle Park.

BRIGHTENING BELIZE - ROTARACT BANQUET

This is a fundraising dinner and silent auction benefitting schools in Belize. The proceeds will help fund ongoing projects in Belize such as building a fence around a school to provide a higher degree of safety for the students who attend.

Educational Aid for the Blind 2011 Fundraising Dinner

Kids Kottage Radiothon

The Kids Kottage provides a respite for parents that are having troubles coping with life's challenges and need to drop off their kids in a safe environment in order for them to get their lives back on track. It is a traumatic time for kids to be 'abandoned' by their parents...but it is a courageous choice for parents to do so and ensure that their kids remain safe as they tend to whatever is presenting barriers to their life.

Three Steps Forward

Light The Night Walk - Victoria Park
Each year, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), hold an event entitled "Light The Night Walk". Families, friends, co-workers and national corporations come together to raise funds for the society to aid people battling blood cancers. Funds raised by walkers at this event provide:
- Lifesaving blood cancer research
- Free educational materials and events for patients and their families
- Local programs such as Family Support Groups and First Connection, a peer-to- peer counseling program
- Comprehensive, personalized assistance through our Information Resource Center
CCMA's - Pics and Sticks Event
Pure Artists join Gord Bamford, George Canyon, Aaron Pritchett, Aaron Lines, Chad Brownlee & Brett Kissel @ Leduc Rec Centre to kickoff CCMA's week of events at Pics and Sticks/Taste of Leduc. Artists are... the Rising Stars of Country & perform from 4:15 to 6:30 PM at the LRC.

‘Reach Out for Tomorrow’ represents the evolution of a series of concerts put forth by Pure Artists. In the summer of 2008, these performers delivered a show entitled ‘Feeding the Soul’ at the Myer Horowitz Theatre with proceeds going to the Edmonton Hot Lunch Program. In June of 2009, Pure Artists delivered the spectacular ‘Soaring with Song’ concert at the Winspear Centre, featuring world class artists with proceeds going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) for breast cancer research.
This promises to be a high-energy concert with artists selecting songs from the genre of music that more closely reflects who they are, while still delivering their messages of hope and inspiration.
Ride With Pride 48 Hour Bikeathon

On Wednesday, March 10th to Friday, March 12th Emily will be fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society in the Ride With Pride 48 Hour Bikeathon.
Bellerose Composite High School has received provincial and national recognition for their fundraising. This year's fundraising goal is $80,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
It is Bellerose High School's mission to FIGHT this disease, to REMEMBER loved ones and their battle against cancer, and to CELEBRATE the lives of those who have had cancer. Progress is being made. The school has the power to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
